Specially formulated for use in Western Australia, Rapid Set is a quick drying all-purpose jointing compound for use on small-scale jointing jobs and patching.
Product Overview
Rapid Set is a plaster based all-purpose compound used as all coats in a three coat jointing system or as a base coat only. This low VOC dry powder has been engineered with a rapid 20 minute working time after mixing. This makes it ideal for jobs which need to be completed in one day. Coats should be allowed to harden and dry for at least 30 minutes before re-coating or sanding.
Typical Applications
Gyprock Rapid Set is typically used as all coats in a three coat jointing system for plasterboard and fibre cement in smaller residential and commercial walls and ceiling projects. It is also ideal for patching holes and defects. Hand application is recommended given the short working time.
Other fast solutions
In states other than Western Australia, Gyprock Rapid Patch and Gyprock Pro-Repair 10 provide fast setting compound alternatives.
