Gyprock Ultra-AP is the ultimate lightweight all-purpose jointing compound with superior tape adhesion and shrinkage. With Ultra-AP you can be confident you are using the best.

Product Overview

Ultra-AP is a versatile all-purpose jointing compound used for all coats in a three coat jointing system. This low VOC formulation is available in a convenient premixed form that has been developed to provide exceptional tape adhesion. This is combined with excellent sandability when used as a top coat. Its ultra-low shrinkage and fast drying make it ideal for hot and dry conditions.

Each coat dries and hardens in approximately 24 hours ready for recoating or sanding.

Typical Applications

Gyprock Ultra-AP is typically used for each coat in a three coat jointing system in residential and commercial walls and ceilings. With ultra-strong tape adhesion for tape and second coats, it is ideal for internal angles and, while it can be hand applied, it flows smoothly through mud boxes, automatic tapers and other machine tools.
