The Block 2020

In 2020, Gyprock is yet again the preferred plasterboard supplier for the 2020 season of The Block, Australia’s favourite renovation competition.

This year contestants put 8.5 tonnes of Gyprock to use, choosing products from the whole range of Gyprock products; Superchek on the walls, Supaceil on the ceilings, Aquachek for the bathrooms and even Flexible to achieve curves in walls and archways.

They also turned to Gyprock for decorative elements like ornate cornicing and ceiling roses to help realise the period details in their historic houses.

Despite the challenges presented by COVID-19, all the houses were lined and finished through the superb efforts of the dedicated builders and Gyprockers.
