Create an impact with Gyprock Impactchek™

21 November, 2008

Get tough with Gyprock Impactchek™, the impact resistant plasterboard recently launched by Gyprock™, the plasterboard specialists.

Gyprock Impactchek™ is ideal for high traffic areas such as office corridors, foyers and stair shafts in commercial buildings, cinemas, shopping centres and public transport structures that are required to be impact resistant in accordance with the Building Code of Australia.

Gyprock Impactchek™ has also undergone extensive NATA accredited testing in accordance with BCA specifications and exceeds the BCA requirements for impact resistance.  Independent abrader? tests have also found the Gyprock Impactchek™ face paper is highly scuff resistant compared to normal plasterboard facings.

The product can also be used in fire rated wall systems where higher impact resistance is required and also just as effective in acoustic wall systems to no detriment affect.

As with all CSR plasterboard products, Gyprock Impactchek™ is easy and cost-effective to install requiring no special finishes or joining.
