Gyprock Casting Plaster is used for the manufacture of plasterglass, fibre-reinforced plaster sheets, cornice and general casting applications.

Product Overview

This plaster is grit free and produces a strong moulded product with a clean cast face.

It is a low VOC plaster manufactured by Gyprock in Australia to stringent product specifications and packed in a dark blue coloured bag.

When used for the manufacture of fibre-reinforced plaster products, fibreglass rovings are laid into the plaster slurry during casting for added strength.

Any moulds used should be cleaned and coated with a release agent where possible.

Typical Applications

Casting Plaster is typically used in both residential and commercial construction to create custom details in both ceilings and walls. It is also used in general casting work due to its simple ‘mix and pour’ process.
